Hi Josh,
I wrote the first review for your novel on Goodreads: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/5907649442. Outstanding work; I highly enjoyed Hitler in the Madhouse. Goodreads is the most popular website for book reviews and I hope the website will help call attention to your book. I’ll edit the review and post it on Amazon, too.
Question: Is any part of the book a direct quote from Hitler?
Josh,
After delving so much into Hitler’s early life and his attempts to become a successful painter, I am curious to know your thoughts on his artwork. Do you think he had genuine talent or was Vienna’s Academy of Fine Arts correct to reject him 3 times?
No, Hitler did not have any real talent as an artist. As I make clear in the book, he became a self-styled “Architectural Artist” because he couldn’t draw people. Also, art was progressing — particularly there in Germany — and he wouldn’t get with the program.
